I was so excited about it too and really wanted to like it. I've been doing it 2 weeks and I just can't get past the after-exercise cleansing, ie. not using face wash. My skin feels great after doing it, no breakouts. But when I've been running and I'm all sweaty I feel like I really need a face cleanser, a traditional one that foams up, kwim.
And with the OCM the oil gets up in my hairline and makes my hair oily too, no matter how hard I try.
booo. anyone else try this? monkeybabe how are you going with it?

I don't really know about the oil cleansing method, but I have just started using Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil on my skin at night before bed. It seems so wrong to put oil on my skin, but it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin really smooth in the morning.

I've been doing it and I am in love! My skin is so much softer and looks better. To keep the oil out of my hairline, I use a soft terry headband thing. It seems to absorb all of the oil and water and keep it out of my hair.
I'm thinking of doing this with coconut oil. Right now I use some Shea butter on my face at night, my grandmother's face is virtually unlined and she's been using Shea butter on her skin for years. She's 76.

Yes! Go Grandma (and good genes haha) I was using coconut oil for the OCM. I am still using it for moisturizing and I love it, smells like vacation
