It was a balmy (aka, humid from people watering their plants) 80 for my six mile run at 5 am.
So happy it's over (today was a double duty day--run at 5, teach spin at 7) Now on to a tri tip cook off!
ETA--I'm so I love with body glide after my run this am. It's the first time I ran in a tank and DID NOT CHAFE. One would think I would have mastered applying this stuff years ago....

Today is actually glorious here in Cbus. High of 78 and the humidity is manageable.
Going to do a long strength session (back squats) followed by a metcon (5 rounds: 5 deadlifts and 10 burpees). Will go for a 4-miler tonight with the pup and probably a walk also. This weather is perfect...I can't stay indoors!
It was 116 yesterday and today it is going to be 118 (low of 93!)
When I woke up at 5am, my facebook feed was full of my friends waking up at 330am to run. Crazy, I have never and will never, wake up that early. The thing is 330am is not necessarily cooler by the heat index - in July, it starts to get humid here so even though it slightly cooler without the sun, it is more humid. The best time to run, IMO, is when the sun is coming up and drying up the air. So anyway, I ran with a friend starting at 6:15am. It was warm and humid - by 7:15, it was warmer (like 95 degrees instead of 90) but less humid. IMO that is better. And I slept until 515, no crazy 330am alarm clock.
Just finished a 48 mile ride - it is 92 & full sun.
Tomorrow I have a 60 min trainer ride bricked with a 2hr run. The high is in the low 90s, so it probably won't be more than 85 by the time I'm finished.

I'm going out tonight probably at 7:00ish, so I'll have time to get in 90 minutes or so before dark. That's my fave time of day to run during the summer anyway. I hate the humidity in the morning. I'll take the extra few degrees of the evening any day.

It was 65-70 with 95% humidity during my 10 mile run this morning. The humidity killed me. I was ok for the first 7 miles, but then I slowed down. I've been running in weather like this for a few weeks, but today was particularly hard for some reason.
I did 7.5 outside early so DH could get out to do his run. Then I did a strength class at the gym, ate lunch, put DD down for a nap, and took the big kids out into the pool. I love Summer!
I'm also going this evening - sleep was more important this morning! The high here today is supposed to be 103, so we'll see how it goes. Probably slowly.
I ran 4 miles this morning - weather was great - in the 60's with low humidity. I went to Hot Yoga this morning for an hour. I also walked 3 miles to and back from yoga.
I did 31 miles on my bike, starting at 7am. Casual conversational pace w/ friends. It was nice.
Tomorrow I have masters practice, and I'm trying to figure out when to run my 7 miles. I swim 7:30a-9:15a, which overlaps w/ prime running time. I either need to get up at like 5:30a or do it at twilight. Neither sounds appealing.
I started at 8:30. It's only 74. But if I waited until the late afternoon or evening it would be 85. It's also a little too humid for this Seattle girl.
For the first time in my entire life, I got up and went for a morning run. Who is this person and where is Ohgillian?
Thursday night my C25k run was too much for me and I couldn't complete it. I wanted a do-over and it was cool this AM. I did it! I completed the run that I couldn't do the other night (8 min run; 5 min walk; 8 min run). Even better, I ran 10 mins in the second leg.
I am on top of the moon. Or whatever that expression is.
85 and humid here. Did 6 miles at 8 this morning. Wasn't too bad when I started but it was pretty muggy by the time I was done. I managed an average of 9:45 minute mile though so I'm happy with that. Also I stopped halfway back to help a tiny little baby snapping turtle off the road. So cute

I did 9 this morning, started around 8:30 in the morning. I didn't bother to check the humidity before I left, it's been raining every afternoon all week and the mornings have been super humid so I figured why even look? And sure enough, it was evil. I got my 9 in and it just felt like crap. Time-wise, ok, but just ugh.
11 miles @ 9:30am. It was probably in the low 80s then. I think? I checked the hourly temps when my alarm went off at 6:30 checked the hourly temps and saw it wasn't supposed to crack 80 until like 10 am an reset the alarm for 7:30.
It didn't feel oppressively hot so I'm guessing it was like 60% humidity.
I actually had a really great run. Didn't do so well with the electrolyte replacement though. Now I have a running hangover.
I didn't set an alarm and said if I woke up in time, I'd go to the 10:00 class. If not, then I needed sleep more than I needed to workout. I ended up sleeping almost 12 hours. Guess that was my answer.

I did a 38 mile bike with my tri team this morning. We left at 7 so it wasn't super hot. It was horribly windy though and that is what did me in. It is a high of 102 today so I will not be doing anything else outside.

It was 82* with 89% humidity when I left with my girls this morning at 7:30. We did a run/walk of 6.25 miles with the double stroller, probably a good deal more walking than running.
8 miles in mid 80s at noonish. Didn't mean to go in the middle of the day, but it worked out. I actually felt decent too. I was slightly slower than my usual pace I think. But I'll take it.

Did 6miles in 90% humidity yesterday morning. I'm away at a dog competition this weekend but did 2 miles this afternoon (90s) after competing outside all day. Guess if my dog can run in this crap so can I lol.
