I had to come home from work early because A has hidden MH's keys. He spent most of the morning looking and can't find them. Either my kid has amazing hiding places or MH didn't look very hard.

Does A have any buckets/containers? Evan hid DH's about a month ago. DH was blaming me for losing them, couldn't find them for 2 days. Evan had put them in a sand bucket.
We've had that happen before. Once, I almost missed an event I was in charge of because my keys were hidden in a joint effort by both kids and an unsuspecting DH.
We went to a friends birthday party for their 2 year old. They had to have someone come get them and bring them to the place because they couldn't find the keys the kid had been playing with. Later on at the party the kids finally broke open the pinata...score!
DD hid my keys once. I thought she flushed them down the toilet. 3 weeks and $175 later for new keys to be made later, they were in the radiator in her room. Shoot me.

Nope, still MIA. They have to be somewhere in the house because MH got home last night and he said A was playing with them this morning, and then they were gone.

I found a crayon in the granola bar box in the pantry today. And one of her shoes was missing for a couple weeks, we found it yesterday in her dresser. We often find things she has thrown behind the couch as well. And kitchen cabinets before they were all locked.
Have you asked him where they are? DS1 did something similar when he was about this age and went right to his hiding spot and got them. I hope you find them!

Yes! They are smarter than you think. Ask him. My DS2 is always moving things and we can often get him to show us where he put them.

Yup, we've have some luck with this. Especially when it is seething he loves, like the remote. He doesn't forget where he puts it. H once led us to the general area where it was hidden.
