I voted yes, but it was only 75-80 in London yesterday.
However, back at our old house our basement was partially underground, so when it got into the 90s we'd sleep downstairs and it was perfect sleeping temperature.
We have a/c in our room, so we usually don't have an issue. However, since we have grandma, we have to cool the whole house, so our room wasn't sealed up and staying as cool as it usually does. I barely slept and today is going to be fun :/

How did you know that yes option was for you?!
And last night, our basement was only a few degrees cooler. It was a night of misery and it's only early July. ._.
And my parents are invading my basement for the next 6 months to a year... no more escaping to the basement for us.
I missed this ... what happened? Was this always the plan? Best of luck and you, mr. spun, & thor can hide at our place if you give us enough heads up .

We have a portable AC unit (got it from Costco the summer I was pregnant with M), and it's been worth every stinking penny. I slept fairly okay last night, and we were able to cool off a 92° condo last night when we got home from Bham. Our REA had closed and locked all the windows and kept the curtains open. We're West facing. It was torturously hot in our house last night. BLAH.
I slept, but kept waking up. Not sure why. We have window A/C units in our bedroom and in E's, but I think ours was still set a bit too high, because I just couldn't get comfortable.
we've got a good method down. When we wake up in the morning we close all the windows and all the blinds. our house is like a tomb but it REALLY helps. the house got to a max of 84 yesterday (and we had box fans going just on the ground, not in the windows.
Once the sun goes down enough (around 8ish) we open all the windows/doors/blinds, and put the box fans in the rooms we will sleep (we sleep apart when it's super warm). It was really comfortable for us - I slept with the comforter the whole night once the dog stopped shaking from the fireworks
I slept a bit but not very well and kept waking up. The window fan was just not cutting it last night. Anything over 75 and I am miserable. I can deal with 80 if there is a breeze but this I can't handle. I can hardly eat anything and with the prgncy that isn't good. I'll be happy when this whole thing is over and I can walk outside without feeling like I want to pass out.

I'm already a horrid sleeper, which y'all know since I whinge about it frequently, so if its over 75 in the bedroom, it gets worse. We have a portable AC unit for the bedroom but it just could NOT keep up for some reason yesterday! It was 89 when we went to bed at 11:30, so we left it on AND the ceiling fan and I slept naked with only a sheet on part of me AND had a small fan blowing on me...and still don't feel like my sleep was restful at all.
We shut up the house (closed all blinds and windows) and left a small fan blowing over a big bowl of water to hopefully make a small cooler area for Ivan, whether or not he'll utilize it is another thing. :/ I may have to torture him when we get home by dunking him in some water to cool if he's looking too warm as I'm concerned about him overheating with all that fur. Kittehs don't pant like dogs. Be careful with your critters!!![/b]

Did I miss something? Did you get a BFP?
Not sure I mentioned It over here. I found out last Tuesday. It's been a rough week because of it. I'm scared and not really excited because of the scared part.

I missed this as well. Thinking lots of good thoughts for you.
We had fans in every window starting about 7pm and it actually got pretty decent in our house, we kept one going in our bedroom window all night on low and I was actually cold at one point and had to pull the sheet up. That could be because the fan blows directly on me from there though Tonight is going to be warmer though which makes me nervous.
Can't see the poll. I got sleep. We have ac in the room. I had all the animals on the bed with me so they could get max cooling. Poor J slept in the backroom.
Not really, but that's because I was traveling. My plane left Amsterdam 6am Seattle time so I was able to get just over 4 hours then made myself wake up.
