Friday - plans for a picnic and movie were disrupted by rain, so we went out to dinner instead.
Saturday - lazy day around the house. We did some cleaning, gardening, and went to Whole Foods for dinner.
Sunday - read in bed in the morning, then put together a meal plan for the week, grocery shopping, Home Depot, and more gardening. We made homemade pizza for dinner and watched part of a movie but went to bed halfway through because it was late.
It was going well until one of my little guys had to be admitted to the hospital for jaundice. He is doing well though and we should be going home tonight. Hopefully the rest of the week goes up from here.
Friday - stopped and grabbed frozen pizzas on the way home from work. played with the kids, dinner, put them down to bed (a production since they earned a "sleepover" - where they all sleep in the same room - and were too excited to settle), then headed back into work until way way too late.
Saturday - Lazy morning. DW headed into work and I took the kids for a swim at my parents' house. Home for a little down time then DW dropped the kids off at our B/SIL's house where they spent the night. DW and I went to a fun wedding and had a nice time.
Sunday - slept in, sort of. Picked up the kids. Home for rest because they were way overstimulated and tired. In the afternoon we went to a local amusement park and met up with a friend. Kids had a nice time on the rides even though it was semi-raining. Out for dinner then home to put the kids to bed. Did a little laundry, then passed out shortly thereafter.
Saturday: Woke up and found our smallest kitten dying, I held her and did my best to comfort her until she passed. I buried her where we found her in the back lot. Got breakfast ready for the kids, frosted cupcakes, got ready to go to niece's birthday party. We went to MIL's for the party where we stayed inside because of the heat. I noticed Apple had a fever (103.3) so J and I rushed her to urgent care where we found out she has a bladder infection (caused by the diarrhea she's had for the last few days) and they confirmed an eye infection. J dropped us off at home and went to pick the girls up from her parents house. Bed for everyone when they got home.
Sunday: I was making pancakes when Apple woke up, she had another high fever (104.3), I sent J to the pharmacy to pick up her meds so I could get her fever down. I gave her a dose of ibuprofen when J got home and we went back to urgent care. Apple was not happy about being back and screamed the entire time, they eventually put us in a private room and closed the door. We were told to go home and wait 24-48 hours for the meds to work on the bladder infection, we could go back after that if she was still having a fever. I was irritated, we have to follow foster rules and take the kids to the Dr when their fever hits a certain point but because she was already diagnosed the Dr didn't see the point in us taking her again. We went home and FIL brought the other kids home about an hour later. We watched TV, played with Apple, were online for awhile before putting the kids to bed. J and I were up late.
Friday - We met our neighbors for dinner and then had them over for dessert and to let the kids play. We are so sad they are moving to FL today.
Sat - Gray came into our room at 6am crying because he didn't feel well. He had a fever and was hacking up a lung so I had to cancel the sleepover we had planned. L went to the gym and to the grocery store while we all laid low reading, watching movies, napping, and playing video games. That is pretty much what we did from 6a-5p when I decided to make ice cream and discovered I'd killed the ice cream maker last weekend and had to run to Kohls to buy another. Made awesome mint chocolate chip ice cream from the mint in the herb garden. Kids went to bed early, but Gray woke up at 10pm and ended up in our bed. We all slept like crap...
Sun - Well, Gray slept fine and slept till 9am (which is unheard of in our house.) He seemed fine (no fever and minimal cough) so we went to see Monsters University and then home to see our neighbors before they moved. Their son came over to play while they finished loading everything up and then we went to Sweetfrog. Grayson crashed and wouldn't eat SF and fell asleep on L's lap so we had a low key night at home. L worked for several hours while I got ready for the week.
Gray is home with L today since we didn't want him to crash mid-camp day and L was already working from home.

Friday: dinner with my SIL and her GF to celebrate her birthday.
Saturday: my mom came over and hung out with the boy while I went for my group run. I came home and showered and the three of us went out for breakfast. The boy played while I worked on some things around the house. In the evening we went over to SIL's house for pizza and games for her birthday. The boy fell asleep in their guest room but woke up with a fever so we took him home.
Sunday: he still had a little fever but was acting/eating normally. I made pancakes for breakfast. We played and did some stuff around the house, then ran a few errands in the afternoon. Came home and grilled out, then watched a movie.
What's with the fevers? RB was running a low one this weekend, too!
Our old daycare had a note posted (last week? the week before?) about a fever going around. Apparently lots of the kids had turned up with high fevers that lasted 3 days or less and didn't have an obvious cause. Weird.

E had a fever last week too. Weird.
Friday: I got home from work and mowed and showered. A arrived and we went to the local taphouse for burgers and beer. Then we went home and sat on the couch chatting and catching up on things with each other.
Saturday: We slept in until the neighbor started pressure washing and then we just cuddled the morning away. Made brunch and got ready to head into the city. We went to the dyke march and met up with two of my friends beforehand and chatted a bit, marched, and then people watched afterwards. On our way home we grabbed some wine and snacks and enjoyed a quiet evening in.
Sunday: Up early for a pre-parade brunch in the city. The brunch was meh, but the seats we were also guaranteed with our brunch purchase were worth it. In the shade (initially) and no super long standing wait. So we stayed for a bit more than half the parade before the sun was overhead and too much to take. We were going to see some friends at the post-parade stuff, but bailed due to the heat and grabbed lunch on our way home. A nap was definitely in order and A slept until just before she had to leave to go home and back to work. I got a few things done around the house and was thankful for A/C.
Jacob has had a low grade fever the last two days too... I think his is teething related as he has been a mess!
Friday I left work early and was waiting for M and the boys when they got home. We just had a low key night.
Saturday we went and looked at model homes as we are over where we live. I think we found where we want to go. We would have to build so that is causing some major stress. We met with a realtor on our house and were surprised he said we should list as high.
Sunday Jacob crawled so that caused a whole frenzy of baby proofing. We discussed the home situation a little more about a backup plan in case our home sells faster than expected an we close before the new home is done. Then we met with the sales rep to look at lots and plans some more.
