MH grandparents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this Saturday. We're going to the horse track for lunch/horse racing, and I'm at a loss on what to wear.
The Dress Code says this: NO: halters, t-shirts, cutoffs, flip-flops ...and that's about it.
So what would you wear? We have two reserved tables in the main dining room "premium seating" (whatever that means).
I live in Kentucky so this is my thing a good part of the year. Some tracks are casual, some are dressier. But I'd say a sundress for certain. I always err on the side of being dressier.

The dress works well. If you do a hat, just do a ribbon sun hat and don't try to add anything to it. Hats are more for function at the track than anything. Cotton dresses and suits are best since it can get hot.
