Every slow, painful, humid run we shuffle through now will return to us as quick, lovely runs in the fall. That's what I had to tell myself starting 5 minutes into my 89%-humidity run this morning.
I didn't run this morning because my run yesterday was so horrid with the humidity and it poured rain on me. I pulled a muscle in my back when I was sleeping so I'm resting it, but if I feel up for it I might do a quick 3 miler after work. This week has been the worst so far.

I am on day 2 of week 1 on the C25K program. I could probably skip it, but I think the reason I've never been able to run is because I jump in with both feet expecting to just be able to do it and when I can't I get frustrated, so I'm starting slow.
I have found the humidity is best handled ass early in the morning. I am not a morning person, but i have found that I really enjoy the quiet if I get up at 5:30 and walk right out the door to run. and then I feel good about it all day.
This is not to say I am not dreading the thought for tomorrow morning, but I will do it. I am starting week 8 tomorrow. 28 minutes.
Yea to everyone who made it out today or yesterday, despite the humidity!
DL, if this week gets any wetter, I'm going to start kayaking to work. This is gross.
Seriously is it ever going to end?
I did it - I went out at 5:30 and ran 4 miles in the drizzle. I was more soaked in my own disgusting sweaty sweat. The humidity is killing me this week.

Yeah I am the same. I feel great all day when I exercise early in the morning. And it's out of the way!
