I want to improve my running and I think hill sprints is the answer. I just haven't been able to find out how long (time or distance) each sprint should be. Can anyone fill me in?
I'm not sure if I have the answer to your specific question...but since no one else had weighed-in, I figured I'd respond. For me, my hill work is done at the college stadium. They have grassy hills on either side of the bleachers, so I do some running around the track and then do 5-10 hill repeats between laps.
There are a couple hills in my neighborhood that take me about a min to run up. I run up the hill and jog back down 5-10 times depending on how I feel. I usually do them in the middle of a 4-6 mile run.
