Make me a baby room with this color.

I know..I know..I have time. I'm just excited and the kid is napping, so I'm having a break.

This is the color of probably future baby room (still working that out).


It's not as blue IRL as my screen shows. It's very much aqua. Bright aqua by internet standards. Leans sort of girly but whatever. If it's a boy, I'll change when he's old enough to care.
It's one of my favorite colors. It's pretty recent paint besides.

Crib is black as will be changing table. There's a huge oak armoire in there (it was my grandma's. beautiful. Great for storage and it weighs like 400 pounds..it's not moving..lol).

I'm thinking I want to do a cow theme. I want a couple of those colorful Andy Warhol looking prints (there's an artist here that does similar cheap) and plain crib sheets then. Or I just do some cow print sheets in the crib and  solid black and white bedding (there's a bed in the room too) and do more realistic cow art. Problem is all the cow sheets I find are brown spots. H will have a fit. This is a Holstein farm. He's so literal sometimes.

Then I found some super cute viney/floral pink/green/that color aqua crib sheets on Overstock. They're so girly though, so it's probably out. Unless we find out what we're having..which is still debatable.

So WWYD with that color paint for a baby? I'm open. I'm game. Inspire.
Nautical is out. It's just not me at all. And this isn't really lake country.  
Boy, girl, gender neutral..give me something to look at.

Ohhh..I like the thought of orange. The florally sheets I mentioned above and love have a bit of orange in them.
Giraffe's would be fun. Rubes has a zoo animal story book that has great art but she kind of hates..I should pull it apart and frame some of it.

I love that color too. It's intense..but so am I. I'd never want in say a LR but it's great for a bedroom.

Definitely, saving it all for later this winter when I get it together.

Congratulations! February babies are the BEST (I have 2)!!! DD2's nursery is aqua (Sherwin Williams' Bubbles) and coral. I think you have a bit bolder style than I do, but I'll post some pictures later when I am on my computer. Had she been a boy, I was either going to go with aqua and tangerine or aqua and gray.
