UGH...totally effing around & I need to be cleaning/packing

DH's band has a gig tonight and I promised I'd clean up and pack for our beach trip tomo and it is now 10:08 and I haven't done anything but sit at the computer drinking an O'Doul's Amber (pg).  I have no motivation!!! At least I am still awake and not falling asleep on the couch like most nights!! 

It is so hard to get things done at night! Yet I always leave things to the end of the day! AHhhhhhhh!

I came in to empathize, but I see this is from last night, and you're probably at the beach now, so enjoy! I was going to empathize because I may be having company for dinner tonight, but I won't be sure until it's almost dinnertime ... I'm cooking as if I'm serving 8 instead of our usual 3, so I might have a ton of leftovers, which is fine because it's just marinated steak tips and pasta salad and easy stuff like that that's fine leftover anyway ... but the house is a disaster. I should be cleaning for company, but if there's not going to be company, why bother? Such a dilemma!
