Hi,
So DH and I are celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary this Sunday. We are trying to think of a place to go out for dinner besides our usual places and somewhere a bit nicer. We live up near Haverhill but are willing to come down to Boston or anywhere in between. We originally were going to go to Yella's in Andover but they are closed Sundays. Unfortunately, we can't do Saturday since we are going to a family graduation party. Anyone have any good recommendations?
DH doesn't eat seafood so it has to have some alternatives and we are hoping to keep it under $100-150 or so for the two of us.

RockNVoll we will probably have a glass of wine/beer or two each (aka me) but not a lot. Sadly can't get drink too much on a work night If it was a nonwork night I'd have to up the budget to include more alcohol.

Oh oh oh! Another solid choice is Elephant Walk, if you haven't been. If you have, you can skip it since they haven't changed their menu in a decade at least.
Oleana and Elephant walk are both fabulous. If you go to Oleana, get the hummus with basturma. Basturma is a bacon-esque meat that is made with beef instead of pork and their hummus is so buttery. I love Elephant Walk's short ribs that just melt in your mouth.
If he likes BBQ, East Coast Grill in Inman Square is also fun. eastcoastgrill.net/menus and for Italian...I like Gran Gusto in North Cambridge. www.grangustocambridge.com/ It is not as well known, but the food is amazing.

If you don't want to go into the city is look at A Tavola in Winchester and Bistro 5 in Medford. Same owner for both and they both rival any city resto. Also a big fan of Hungry Mother in Cambridge, amongst other places already mentioned here.
I'm on my phone so keeping it short. Do you drink? If not, there are lots of nice places that can fit in your budget, but here are a few that come to mind that I think will work either way (don't quote me on it though).
Tryst in Arlington Salts in Cambridge Deuxave in Boston (less sure on this one)
Gah, that's all I can think of right now. There's also A Tavola in Winchester that took over the space of another restaurant I used to really like but I haven't tried it yet.
Ha I just said A Tavola! It was Parsons Table before which was awesome but AT is just as good - you totally should try it. Perhaps I'll see you there! Ha!

Yes, Parsons Table is what I was forgetting. I loved that place and was sad to see it go. I'm not a big Bistro 5 fan though so wonder if I'll like it.
It is different - I like it better than B5 personally. Not really sure how to describe it though. And it is always consistently good.
