Well, I survived my anatomy scan today. I had a good friend come with me to hold my hand and send text messages to my husband during the scan. It went extremely well and this kid is right smack on the textbook growth curves and has been the entire time. I'm always told that he has beautiful anatomy. I keep looking at the report where it says "Fetal heart activity: present" because it is such an improvement over the anatomy scan report from the first baby. I'm starting to believe that we might actually be having a baby this time.
They did find mild hydronephrosis, but that is apparently quite normal for boys and though it is a soft marker for Down's we'd already ruled that out from the Maternit21 testing so I'm choosing to not worry about it. They did recommend an extra scan after I move just to double check on it but literally that was the only thing that they found to even try to pick on so I'm quite happy with how today went. And my supposedly anterior placenta is very much posterior so it's not just my imagination when I think that I'm feeling all these movements.
I just wanted to update you guys because you've been so supportive and there for me in everything that has happened in the past year and a half.
