I would like to add a tank or two to my collection in preparation for another trip south this summer. The other tanks/Ts I brought were really too stifling in the heat/humidity last time. Do you have a favorite top to wear when it's disgustingly hot outside? I'm debating getting another luluemon Swiftly tank, unless there is a better wicking/cooling option. The LLL cool racerback I wore got too heavy, and the LLL 'silverescent' top I had looked and felt like a soaking wet bathing suit.
I buy tanks at TJMaxx that a similar to the ON tanks posted above. They are Hind brand and I love them.
Also, my BFF just got me a Danskin tank from, of all places, Walmart, and I love it. I wore it for the first time on my run this morning--it was a hot, muggy morning and this tank was nice and light.
I have been living in LLL swiftly tanks. Nothing else compares. I just purchased two of these from Athleta for their hot weather reviews. They should be here by Friday. I'll let you know how I like them. athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=70803&vid=1&pid=581527032
ETA: I just got a call from reception that I have a package! Maybe they got here early!!

on sale at running warehouse. they have served me well. they aren't too heavy when wet and there isn't sweat sloshing out of them at every step (happens with non-compression shorts).

I picked up a few of the same Hind tanks and I love them. They're super thin (almost sheer fabric) and don't have a built-in bra, so there's less material. And they're only $10! I bought one and I loved it so much that I went back to get more.

I'd love a review, thanks!
While cute, light, and very comfortable, I don't think they will be as cool as the swiftly tanks. I'm considering just keeping one & then getting another swiftly tank.

Last summer i was at the UA outlet and they had some coldblack tanks on sale. So i bought one. Ok, fine. I bought two.
When its very sunny out they actually make a big difference.
Having said that, generally any light, wicking tank works for me. Hot is hot, even naked id be uncomfortable, you know?
I've never heard of this; fascinating!
Right? I assumed it was just marketing fluff (though ua usually delivers) and i didntmwant to pay full price, but when i found them on sale for <$20 i figured at the least its a tank, top. It really does deflect heat from the sun. But just that knd of,heat. In humidity or on a hot, overcast, day, its just a tank.

I have these as well. I bought them on clearance at REI. I like them more than I thought I would.
South like...Ohio south? Columbus maybe? Back on topic-I just picked up a tank at Target that's part meshy stuff and part wicking fabric that I love. I haven't worn it running yet, just around the house which right now is as good as running with the amount it makes me sweat. Lemme go find a link since my patient isn't here yet.
