Found a great, athletic sports med/orthopedic doc. He recommended PT to strengthen both hamstrings and yoga. Once I get stronger they will reintroduce running. He thinks ill recover just fine but need to have patience. Ugh not my strong spot at all. So thankfully he doesn't think I'm too injured to ever run again and I'm be back out there slowly but surely. Just no running right now. He was impressed I was still running as much as I was. He thinks the two close together halves was just too much for me too soon into heavy running. The pt is a runner and very athletic. I did a lot of research last night with the recommended pts as I really wanted an athletic hopefully a runner pt. the place I found they are all very athletic and most of them run or do tris! They understand my passion/obsession lol I start pt Thursday. I assume my Halloween half is out but they wonder if I can run/walk it once I get stronger. Only time will tell.
