I (heart) BSC (though now when I see BSC, I think of Bat Shit Crazy first).
I picked Mary Anne, because she was shy. And Dawn because she was my favorite, she was a vegetarian, and didn't take shit from people. I had a soft place in my heart for my namesake, but I didn't really share the same traits as her.
I know I read some but they weren't my thing. Not to sound snobby but, erm, about the age most girls were really in to them, I was reading things MUCH more advanced. I know I borrowed like the first 20 from a friend, but with how much I read, I would get through 5 in 2-3 days so I retain NOTHING of them.

You totally sound snobby. Hahaha. XD That's ok. I could finish a BSC book in about 30 minutes, but I still enjoyed them like my tummy loves candy~!
I started reading BSC books when I was 7 and continued until I was 11 or 12... LOL. I knew by then I was too old for them, but I was hooked. I definitely quit by some point in sixth grade, though...
Edit: Oh, and I said Kristy, even though I never identified much with her as a kid, and I'm not athletic. I lean toward jeans and t-shirts, and I am often overly honest and can't stand frenemies, workplace politics, etc. Basically, I think people need to be more forthcoming in general, which I think is how Kristy was. Right?

I know XD I read them, I enjoyed them, but they were too easy and after about 20 or 30, it was too much to effort to deal with them. In one eye and out the other, no recollection other than the brown lunch sack my friend would bring to me and I'd return to her Hence, I can't vote. ((And yeah, I was reading things like the Arabian Nights, Clan of the Cave Bears, and massive sci-fi books usually at least 250+ pages so BSC made little to no impression on my brain, too short.))
