Spi belts- where does it "lay" on you?

I just got a Spi belt from Amazon, and I'm not really sure where it's supposed to lay on you. Is it supposed to go above your hips? Around the belly button area?

fwiw, I am going to use it for running.

I place mine below my hip bones. It doesn't budge.

Mine is right at or slightly below my hips.

Mine is most comfortable when it's on my natural waist...I seem to fidget with it if I wear it lower. I keep the pouch part on my right hip toward my back.

I saw a race photo wearing mine...ugh. Love the functionality but it created a roll that I don't think is really there. Maybe I'll experiment with placement too.

Mine went around my hips, under my baby belly. I put the pouch in the back and occasionally it'd bounce around but overall it stayed put.
