I must confess that I just got back from dinner at our local Mexican restaurant, and although I was conservative on dinner, I may have splurged on my jumbo margarita. I'm a weakling, and I'm drunkety drunk. So much for those awesome lawn mowing calories I burned today. Oops!
I was away for the past week visiting my mom and only ran twice while I was there. I have not ran in almost a week and I'm in the middle of training for a Half in September!!! Must go to bed now so I can get a run in before work!
Um...I didn't run tonight. It's still 90 out. Eff that. But I kicked my own ass with some Brazilian Butt Lift workout thing. Holy shit.
And I'm about to ruin that with a trip to Sonic. I figured that was better than the beer or margarita option, which I will be exercising all weekend while camping.
I tried to order a healthy meal today at dinner and ordered red snapper w/ grilled asparagus - when it came out the fish and asparagus were sitting in a pool of butter sauce. I meant to order it w/out the sauce but felt too bad sending it back since it was my fault. The butter sauce ruined the fish because it was so salty - H&F Fail:(
I've been given full clearance to run again - WOOHOOOOO! My foot still hurts quite a bit. My 2nd toe is still kind of up in the air, lifted off of the ground, and it causes issues in any activity.
About two months ago I witnessed a 70.3 Ironman and decided I wanted to do one. So now, I'm training for Dopey (5k, 10k, 1/2, full marathon - because I am a MORON), sprint tri, Tower of Terror 10 miler, Wine and Dine 1/2, Princess Glass Slipper challenge, and Florida 70.3 next year.
Bought my first bike a few weeks ago and just went on my first ride. It's a dream ride with my George. (A Madone Trek 4.5).

Twice this week I had nothing but coffee for breakfast. Then when I got home I had ice cream as an after-work snack because "hey, I didn't eat my 400 calorie breakfast, I can have ice cream!"
This morning I had a protein shake. I may or may not eat my oatmeal.

another weird confession: I had TWO dreams last night about guys other than H.. One of them is a radio DJ.. WTF? The other.. I have no idea. It was just some random dude. I was married to H in both dreams, but we were getting divorced..or something.. double WTF.

Omg. I confess that I now think quorra is hardcore. In a good way.
Also, I've had one brewing for a while. I have a friend who has some major body image issues. She posts stuff on FB about how she is trying some random diet or another, and everyone has been kindly trying to explain to her that she looks fabulous and doesn't need to lose weight. Well, now she has begun to pimp Advocare. And every FB post is about how she has SO MUCH energy now that she has replaced all of her meals with Advocare. So, last night, she posted that her friend drank an Advocare shake prior to her 5 mile power walk, and she had so much energy that she walked 8 miles. It took all I had not to inquire if said friend was just confused from hunger and got lost.
And, I have the heebie jeebies. A cockroach just crawled across my desk.
quorra, I like how it does a cutback week every other week but the first long run is 13 miles. I hope next year I'm injury-free so I can do it. At least you're doing it first. ;-)

Hahaha thanks. I did Goofy on a fractured foot in January and didn't realize it - this will be HUGE HUGE if I can do this with 3 screws in my foot now.
The constant Advocare posts make me think of that Mama Laughlin group and how they all pimp it out. It gets to be aggravating.

I had dreams about Neil Patrick Harris (WTF?) and Jason Bateman when I was pg with the girls. I still can't watch Arrested Development the same way.
I keep telling myself it is ok to go to the gym in the evening because I need to rest something in order to run well the next day, but then I go with too little time to get an entire run/elliptical/strength training in. Plus, I have been eating more than my 1500 calories per day the past week, and too little cardio. I need to get back on the H&F grind!
