But I'm out of shape and hate to run no seriously I have about 35 pounds I want to lose. I'd love to run a marathon at disney but I'm not a runner. When I work out I walk on the treadmill about 2-4 miles. How do I get started?

Ditto the C25k program. Great way to ease into running. If it gets too hard around weeks 3 or 4 or 5, dont be afraid to repeat weeks. If the first long run seems daunting, slow your pace down and trust the training program, you can do it!
I agree, couch to 5K, do the 5K and see how you like it. There are other ways to be active if you hate running. And as a side note, since I slowed down my running from 20 miles per week to about 6 like I am doing right now, I have lost 15 lbs. Running = runger = weight gain, at least for me.
