Tonight our former Special Instruction therapist is coming over for a visit. We haven't seen her since PF switched to a school setting and we miss her.
Other than a nanny interview tomorrow morning, we have no plans. I kind of want H to come up with something since I came up with everything for last weekend.
We had two interviews last night. First one is a former nurses' aid. She was very nice, didn't even flinch when PF puked all over me and the floor (she even helped clean up the mess!), and actually ASKED for the job as we were winding down. I had a thank you note in my email from her within an hour of her leaving the house. She isn't married, has no children so we don't have those kinds of conflicts to contend with, which is a huge bonus. She was very sweet and PF responded well to her. H liked her too. She'll be moving forward to part two - shadowing our current nanny for part of an afternoon.
The second interview was the retired nurse that I told you all about. Turns out that we weren't the right fit for her. She really wanted to be doing more hands on intensive nursing therapy with PF. PF essentially is a normal kid with delays. She doesn't need nursing. She needs a caregiver/babysitter. The interviewee was also a little too much like our old PT who we hated (she went on about how cows milk isn't a good choice for human children because of the calcium levels etc. Lady, PF gets whole cows milk for the calories. End of story). So moral of the story is that she was a nice lady who wanted to do MORE for PF than we needed her to do.
We're meeting the IL's at a restaurant tonight to celebrate SIL's birthday.
Saturday and Sunday were going to be pretty busy for us, because we had some friends coming into town to visit, but they actually just canceled. Sooooo, now we don't really have much planned! Maybe I'll just use the time to catch up on housework. Exciting!!!!!1111

We need to do housework so badly too! Also, I think we might be going to aviary again. Yay, birds!
Dixie, that first lady sounded great and so does this one. Throw up is the one thing that makes me twitch when I have to clean it up. You know she knows what's going on when she just jumps up to clean it up.
I dragged my ass out of bed at 4:30 to get to work at 6. Daycare was closed today - I completely missed it on her vacation schedule, so we had no one to watch DD. H works at noon, so I worked till 11 and came home to send him off to work. It's only noon and I've got five hours of work done, I have another 5-6 staring me in the face over the weekend, and I just want to sleep. Of course, DD is all hyper and wants to play. I think today might wind up being a day for her to enjoy some Nick Jr while I sit my fat ass on the couch. I am tired!
H might wind up working tomorrow. Might take DD to the beach. She is a total water baby, which we both love since we frequent my IL's cabin all summer. Now that summer finally arrived here in MN, I hope to hit beaches and pools as much as possible.
I need to clean my house. Like, desperately need to, but I don't want to. I really need to hire a cleaning service.

H informed me last night that he has invited people over for a bbq tonight. He hasn't told me how many people, and I haven't gone full-on grocery shopping in 2 weeks... 3 guesses what I'm doing at lunch today! I'd make H do the shopping, but he has absolutely no idea what a budget is or how to stick to it.
Tomorrow I'm going to meet up with bff for lunch. I'm going to try to get my mom to hang with DS for that since bff won't have her son. It would be nice to have "adult" time for a day.
Sunday, I've got nothin. But I will probably spend the day on Mt. Laundry and it's smaller cousin dirty dishes.

On a different note...
I graduated Week 2 of the C25K program this morning!!! I'm pretty sure my jogging was about the same speed as my walking, but I did it and I didn't feel like I was going to die!! Perhaps there's hope for me after all!
Starrie, you may have already done it but don't go shopping. Let him do it. Gaaah
It's the first time I've actually felt competant at work. Hooray!
Tonight going to dinner and a movie in a park with some girlfriends, bridal shower sat am, time with bf and then going to bf's friends bday thing. Sunday is color run with some SO folks!

I thought about making him do it, but like I said he has no idea how to stick within a budget (and blows it in a ridiculous fashion). On top of that, he doesn't have easy access to the money in our account. After his issues with smoking pot put us in financial ruin, I shredded his debit card and I have the checkbook in my purse at all times. He has a minimal amount of cash on hand (usually less than $40), and that's just not going to be enough. My only other option at this point is to have him go to the bank and withdraw cash to take shopping. I really don't want to do that either. Doing the shopping is a PITA for sure, especially on such short notice, but I'd rather do that than give him a "blank check" to take to the store himself.

My office is dead, all but one of our attendings are out today. My boss just left and the big boss lady filling in for the lady who got fired is also gone.
OMG, OMG, OMG! My issue that I was freaking out over may have resolved itself! *swoons*
