Ok ladies, I need your help. I am a flats girl 95% of the time. I do have a couple of pairs of wedges that I wear. But I really need to find some nice, comfortable heels to wear to work. I've read about the pearce pumps at Target but I'm worried about how thin the heel appears to be. Do you have any recommendations for a new to heels girl? Not too high please!! I'm looking for neutrals - nude and black to start with.
Sofft shoes are really, really comfortable. Some of the styles are fug, but you can also find cute ones. They aren't super cheap, but they are so comfortable and well made that it's worth spending a little $$.

Being a "regular" heel wearer I wouldn't start on the Pearce pump. I have them and they're definitely not the easiest ones I have to walk in.
Look for a slightly wider heel to start with. For me an open toed or peep toed heel is easier to walk in than a pump. If your work allows definitely try the peep.
My all time favorite heel is the Cole Haan Air Carma - pricey, but so, so worth it. It has the slightly wider heel I'm talking about. Heel height doesn't matter to me nearly as much as heel width.
Ok I know you all are gonna think I'm an old lady (hell I AM) LOL, but I got some wedges from Naturalizer and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I've EVER owned. And kinda cute too, even my 25ish daughters like them. They weren't super expensive, around $80, but oh so well worth it.
I have a pair of shoes by Naturalizer that I wear almost daily. They are black peep toes. They are THE best shoes EVER! I am concerned I won't be able to replace them. I bought them at Macy's for like $20 on clearance.
I have two pair of easy spirit pumps that are very comfortable. I was wearing flats but heels are preferred at work and with my neck/back issues these are the most comfortable and easiest to walk in.
I agree with the other brands mentioned. I also think a thicker or wider heel would be a good start. If you are looking for a less expensive shoe, try DSW. The have some deals and lots of options that aren't very expensive.
That being said, I am one to pay more for a comfortable shoe. Every time I have tried to save money on a shoe, I end up hating them or they are crazy uncomfortable. (exception are the Target boots -- I can't believe those boots only cost my twenty bucks! Love them!)
