Today is going to be an amazing day!!
Week 3, day 1 went so well this morning that I did it twice! I weighed myself and I've lost 2 of the 5 lbs I put on in the last 3 weeks (only 38.5 pounds to go to my goal). AND I decided to wear the dress I made to work for the first time and I've gotten compliments on it all morning! I'm feeling sassy!

Oh and I am meeting with an attorney this afternoon, leaving work early to do it. No real decision yet as to whether I am pulling the trigger, but it will be good to have the information at the ready.

HUGS cuddlyevil! Information is ALWAYS good. I was really nervous the first meeting I had with a lawyer. It took me about 3 before I found the one I want, but I got some very good information out of those meetings, so it was certainly not wasted time!

Thanks Starries. It wasn't an easy call to make, but the receptionist was really very kind. She even said "I know they tell you 30 minutes, we usually book an hour so don't worry about having to talk fast.".
I got a call from the other therapist too, I am seeing her next week--so I may cancel on the guy who is "very pro-marriage". I don't mind someone who is pro marriage, but I don't want someone who will badger me into staying with something that is failing.
cuddlyevil I'm glad you're getting these meetings lined up. I hope you find professionals who you like and feel comfortable with.
I'm really irritated with my thumb splint. And my ergonomics assessment at work was started but not finished. Plus any twisting of my wrist at all hurts like hell,.so everyday tasks are hard, like putting on jewelry & makeup, cooking, or eating.

Met with the attorney. He was nice. I think he will be a big help, in a couple ways if I decide to file. He told me "what you have told me here doesn't look good for him." . He also went a little "a 42 year old man should know better".
He suspects the game playing is an escape from our finances and life in general.
He liked the idea of therapy for me. Got his card and he said I could call him with any questions.

I'm glad your meeting went well cuddlyevil! He sounds like a good fit for you if you decide to take that step. Either way, I'm sure you got some good information out of it.
