Who is wearing it?
Is it much bigger than the 12m? It sounds like such a big jump! But her 12m onesies are fitting well so I should prob order up for fall. I'm not ordering YET just adding things to my cart for funsies (hot)
Lincoln has one 18 month Carter onsie and it's just a little longer than the 12 month. How is V in 12M already? Lincoln is 20 pounds and is still in 9M Carter's.

How? Laney isn't even in 9m! I think boys is different though because we bought Laney a boys tshirt in 12m and it's much bigger on her than the girls 12m shirts.

How!?!? Maybe he has a short torso? I can squeeze her in 9m but the 12m are starting to fit pretty snug.
I can't imagine V in 18m onesies. I have a 5 pack of 18m Carter's onesie tanks and I tried one on A today. The arm holes were huge and it was too long for her and her torso is sooo much longer than V's. Does their sizing vary?
Lillian is 24lbs. Carter's 18 month shorts are way too big in the waste..the 12 month dresses fit perfectly and 18 months are just getting so they aren't horribly big. I'm putting her is 24 month shirts soon because her belly makes the shirts short. She wore their 12 month clothes for a loooong time, like since November! Her growth slowed a lot.

Fiona's short, but must have a long torso. She's in 12m pants mostly but some 18m pants, but won't be in 18m rompers and onesies for much longer. The torso is just getting rapidly shorter!! 18m shirts are definitely still fine.

Hmm I don't think their sizing varies. This is enlightening. I think I'll go with 12m!
I guess their sizes vary a little bc I have a 12m dress we got as a gift and it looks HUGE still but the onesies fit really well. I also wasn't thinking of sleeves. The 18m sleeves will prob be way too long.
Some of the Carters and Oshkosh fall stuff is pretty cute btw!
I'm waiting for their back to school sales start to use the 60 dollars in gift cards I have. I want to get as much as I can from them when I finally give them their money back.
A wears 18m exclusively now if it's one piece. They're wide on her, but she needs the length. She can wear 9m shorts, 12m pants (pants she needs more length), and 12-18 in shirts. But if it has to snap from her crotch to her shoulders it has to be 18m, and some of those are getting short on her. And this is WITH cloth diapers on!
I bought A a super cute outfit at the OshKosh outlet while we were away. I wish I could shop for next year and save tons of $$, but she's still growing like crazy and I just don't know what size she'll be.
Our 18m onesies are in the wash now to switch over. Since I'm not layering them lately (sometimes just wear them around the house or to bed) I'm ok if they are a little baggy. Luke is 21 lbs
I actually feel like Carters stuff runs a little small. The 18 months seems smaller than 12-18 in other brands.I don't know about onesies, though, because I don't like those.
That horse dress is so cute! Ugh.
Miss Anti-onesie, what do you use to put under stuff? I use onesies for layering and this time of year I use them for ugly around the house playing. In the winter I will have her wear a onesie under her sweater etc.
Carters runs small for us but my kids are tall. Katelyn is wearing 24 month sleeveless onesies, the same as Kalvin at this age. She was 33" a month ago so there's that, he was 34" at 15 months.
He's very proportional (though he seems all legs lately), her height is definitely in the torso.
She wears 12-18 months in Gymboree mostly. She can wear 3-6 month shorts from there.
Hell Kalvin is currently wearing 18-24 month Gymboree shorts...yep 3rd summer, he hardly wore them the first summer when he was 15-18 months old.

This thread makes me really wish we had an actual Carter's store nearby. Christian is a big boy and we buy him 24m. They still have plenty of room to grow though. I really think V would be fine in 12m.
