I was going through our old pictures and found some with some really awful outfits. Anyone else have any bad baby clothes pictures to share? Granted, what one person hates another will love, but let's share the ones we really hate. Here's Abby's. It was for her first birthday and was a gift. Something about it was just too much. Of course, my MIL loved it:

The kids "decorated" onesies at my shower. This is the only picture I could find of one. Those are newborn babylegs and I'm pretty sure a newborn onesie. And now my boobs hurt from suppressed lactation after going through all of those old pictures.
Maybe I'm mean but if people buy Lincoln something ugly or NMS as a gift, I exchange it.
Unfortunately, we're not always able to do that. Sometimes we did, especially with Abby, because my MIL would buy to excess. Then she started buying clothes and taking the tags off so the kids could wear them during visits. I've joked many times that we need to buy stock in Baby Gap because my MIL is single-handedly keeping that company in business.
I wish I had pictures of how Chris has dressed Hazel. It is embarrassing. Two clashing shades of pink most of the time.
Why do they think all one color is good? I came home the other day to Olivia in pink pants, shoes, shirt and bow. All slightly different shades of pink.

j/k, there have been a couple I didn't really like. I wasn't really a fan of this first 4th onesie, but it was a gift so we went with it. And I loved the pants, but they were obviously still too big at this point. lol
I'm sure I posted this before but my MIL really wanted to pick out Macy's coming home from the hospital outfit, she made a big deal about it and asked my permission and everything. I didn't really care so I said sure whatever since it was important to her. Anyway this is what she picked out!! It is pretty funny looking but we still put it on her to drive the 2 miles home from the hospital

That flower is bigger than her head! That's got to be against car seat regulations.

For all the ugly outfits people always provide no receipt and then say "if you want to exchange it, let me know and I'll give you a receipt." Just give a gift receipt with the gift!! I can't bring myself to tell someone that I want to exchange a gift.

I'm the same way! I usually just explain to the store that it was a gift, I don't like it and didn't want to hurt the people's feelings by asking for the receipt. They're always understanding.

Good to know! I may try that sometime. They're almost always from Macy's.
