So do you think the weather where you grew up determines your perfect running temp? Because in the PNW, people put on shorts and sandals if it hits 60. Maybe that's why I'm so intolerant to hotter temperatures.
Yep! Absolutely! I was out in the mid 50's in a tank top and jogging pants. Perfectly happy. I don't wear shorts unless I'm sleeping, but if I did I probably would have had those on too.
I grew up in the fucking swamp (aka Florida, aka, I'm embarrassed of it too) and I despise heat and humidity. If I'm being forced to run, it better be in the 60s with low humidity and a breeze.

This morning, the humidity was "low" enough (87%) that my run didn't feel totally miserable. But then I saw how slow I was, so it was still a factor. I'm also longingly thinking of temperatures in the 30s and 40s, where I can layer as needed.
Also, I saw a guy running at 4:30 this afternoon while wearing pants. I nearly died for him.

I just found out that there's a color run in my area in September... Right after I "should" finish the C25K program. The entry fee is only $35. Should I register? I'm kind of scared. But it will give me extra motivation to stick with the program...
