For the first time in three weeks I had a GOOD RUN!! 85 degrees and 50% humidity but I actually felt like my old self.
I ate a bunch of liver last night in case my iron levels were low - I think this was my problem. That, or this was a fluke and tomorrow will go back to sucking.
But you know, at least when the weather sucks, you can blame all your bad workouts on the weather
or bike rides. i think my cycling is even suffering worse than my running.
i brought my bike into the shop yesterday because "the gears are not shifting right and my bike no longer moves fast."
lol.
he said it probably jusg needed to be clean (as usual) but its not ready yet so maybe i was onto something! rule #1: if it sucks, blame the weather. rule #2: if at all possible, blame the bike (hot)

Now that is dedication.
Liver. Shiver.
I know, right? When I was a kid (okay, in my low 20s), my Mom used to drag me out to the Jewish deli for chopped liver every time my anemia kicked in. The stuff really works better than any supplement available.
I always feel like such a grown up when I eat it all by myself now. Food for function, I guess. They key is a lot of onions.
Gotta make you feel good to know good runs are still in there. I have always heard that actual food is better than any supplement, but props to you for downing the liver in the name of running
