Does anyone have an inflatable or plastic tub pool in their yard? I am looking for one that isn't a super PITA to set up and that we could just turn upside down when we're done with it. The only issue is that we have a deck and no grass area in our yard, so it would have to be drained into a bucket or something (that's what we do w/ our water table)... not sure if that is going to work.

How about getting a plastic sandbox instead of a pool? If you get one that has a lid, you can use it as a pool, but lid it when you're done. That way, you can get more use out of it without having to empty it every time. I'd imagine you'd still need to clean it out weekly, but it'd be much less of a PITA than daily.

good idea! that's kind of what i was thinking but i hadn't thought of just using a sandbox w/ a lid. dur! you're brilliant
We bought an expensive, fancy one and set it up but I never use it. I use the $7 plastic, round one from target. The big one didn't hold air well, was really slippery, too forever to fill, hard to empty, etc. I hated it. This little one works great!!

I went to target to look for something like that and they only had inflatables. Do you know what brand it is?

No. But it was with the summer/seasonal stuff not the pool stuff. It might be too late in the season?

Probably. I went to look for it a month ago. It's always odd to me how our Target runs out of summer stuff by the time summer actually arrives and never has it in the fall even though it's still hot. They don't know the market very well sometimes!
