What (preferably SW) paint color would go with this green, SW Gecko?
We would need a lot of it. I'm itching to paint the LR and this is the accent color in the dining nook. Some of the walls are next to each other so it would have to be complementary.
How do you feel about color? I would do something like SW Framboise. Red and green are complementary, and this green has undertones of blue. Framboise nicely balances out red and blue and would look great with green.
Other colors that could look good are SW Marquis Orange, Invigorate, or a number of tans.

I like the frambroise. I don't think my H would go for either. I think he would think it's too feminine. I doubt he'd go for an Orange, which is saying something given our love for the Orange.
I would go for a teal/turquoise-ish color, or maybe an orange, but then those are kind of the colors we are hoping to use in this house, so it makes sense that I would use them.lol
Maybe it's because I rarely recommend anyone paint their walls yellow (I did once last week!), but I would steer clear of it with this green. The wrong yellow could end up making the room look like the inside of an overdone boiled egg.
Ugh, well, I talked to H about it this morning and he didn't seem thrilled with the idea of any color in the LR. It's over 26' long, so he said he didn't want to make it look too closed in. I just am bored with the white walls.
Is there a focal point or something that you can turn into a feature/highlight by painting a section of wall behind it to break up the space a bit?
Honestly, part of it is that the paint the former owner used is just awful. It's starting to yellow in places and just look grungy. I'm working on him. He wasn't convinced about painting the panel doors white either and, of course, thinks they're a million times better now.
I think he's just not able to visualize what it will look like. (And that it will look better.) It's also a PITA because it's such a large wall surface area. Plus, he's concerned that we'll need to redo the baseboards as well since he said he doesn't want to have to pull out all the furniture twice.
