This is it, I'm copy pasting...
One of the jurors who acquitted George Zimmerman said she had "no doubt" he feared for his life during his struggle with Trayvon Martin, and that was the definitive factor in the verdict. Juror B37 is the first juror to speak publicly about the case, and said she believed Zimmerman's "heart was in the right place" the night he killed Martin, but that he didn't use "good judgment" in confronting the teen. She explained, "I think George Zimmerman is a man whose heart was in the right place, but just got displaced by the vandalism in the neighborhoods and wanting to catch these people so badly that he went above and beyond what he really should have done." She added that if anything, Zimmerman was guilty of not using "good judgment," and believes that he should not have gotten out of his car that night. She also said she believes Martin threw the first punch in their confrontation, and that it was Zimmerman's voice screaming for help in the 911 calls. She added, "He had a right to defend himself. If he felt threatened that his life was going to be taken away from him, or he was going to have bodily harm, he had a right." An initial vote was split, with only three of the jurors first voting that Zimmerman was guilty, while three voted he was not guilty. Source: CNN.com
I watched this while on the treadmill this morning and was so irate I almost veered off while gesturing wildly at the screen in my anger. She seemed so condescending in the way she spoke about Rachel Jenteal, among many, many other issues. I had high hopes that th jurors would come out like the Casey Anthony jurors and basically say "yeah, we agree that the verdict sucks but we were bound by the law and just couldn't convict unfortunately". But no.
The juror has too much of an attitude for me. She seems totally unaffected and no matter your standpoint I can't believe not feeling sad about the entire thing.
This lady makes me sick! Like, I'm seeing red just thinking about her! There is just so much sketchy stuff with her. Like how did she have a book deal 48 hours after the trial? It just shows that her mind was not fully on her job as a juror. She says that Rachel was a bad witness because she was uneducated and bad at communicating. Also, she referred to the defendant as "Georgie" at one point. It's just such bullshit!
