The grocery thread made me think of this. Am I the only one who never did pouches?
Both kids weren't big on purees and homegirl wanted nothing to do with purees after 8 months so I never bought any. I can't be the only pouch virgin out there right?

We never did. We started BLW around 7ish months and before that I used Earth's Best purees or made him his food. He actually had his first pouch the other day wasn't all that interested. For snacks I usually just give him cut up fruit so it's just as easy IMO.

Oh man, they're like toddler crack in our circle. If one kid sees one they all want one immediately. Riley wants one every time we go to the store, it's her little shopping treat.

Zoe never did pouches, but we're not pouch virgins. I've tried giving her pouches a couple times in the last few months. The first time, around a year, because we were going on a long car ride, but she just made a huge mess, and then I tried again last week and she ate a bunch of one, but has snubbed them since, lol.
We didn't really. I tried to give her a few. She wouldnt really eat them. I squeezed them into a bowl and spoon fed to her but she didn't like them much then either. She disliked purees and started spitting them back at me at about 8 months.
I guess I'm a SS. We dont do them for veggies or fruit because he just eats it normally. BUT, I do have some applesauce ones (I know, thats a fruit) that I'll keep in the diaper bag for a quick healthy snack. But as far as regular day use, we dont do them
