It is supposed to be 105 or so with the humidity today. I wore capris to work even with 4 days of leg stubble. And 4 days is not pretty on my white legs, let me tell you.
Goal for the next week: get my ass to the local library and get some books. There are a few I've been dying to get my hands on.
I love that england and wales stepped it up for marriage equality. The snowball continues!

I landscaped my fancy parts this morning, got out of the shower to dry off and went "crap, I forgot to shave my legs--oh well, I'll do it tomorrow." I can't wear capris to work though--silly hospital rules.
I just put my hair up because I couldn't take the pending poofball.

Should I update everyone on my house hunting adventure?
Well, I think we found one. It's not our dream house, but it'll make a great starter home. The price is great and the neighborhood is good. It needs a bit of work but it's livable once I rip out the old orange carpeting.
I go get preapproved. Only problem, big mortgage broker doesn't want to deal with my loan. Pretty much told me "great borrower but we don't want to deal with you're measly mortgage.
So right now I'm trying to get preapproved from a small, local bank who doesn't mind a smaller loan.
And we have another viewing of the property with my dad on Friday. Yes, he's a little crazy, but I trust his advice and opinion when it comes to DIY. I need to make sure I know what I'm getting into and he might see something I didn't.
We don't have a back up house, so hopefully my dad sees the potential in this house that I do. I'm tired of driving.
Oh so our next "foster" is a temp foster for another foster who is going out of town. He arrives tonight until next Tuesday. It's going to be a mad circus at our house with three dogs until Saturday.

I'm glad your guy was adopted out but I'm still sad for you. :-( hopefully the new pups will help.
I'm just going to hide this in here...please diagnose me/talk me down. It is really gross/TMI though, okay? You've been warned!
I do have a doc appointment on Friday, but in the meantime: Last night, I noticed a lump/bump on my left labia. You are welcome. It's a little tender/irritated, but I'm not in intense pain or anything. Dr Google is saying anything from cancer to an autoimmune disease, and now I'm kind of freaking out.
I haven't shaved there recently, so it's not from that. I am currently having an infection treated by my doc with antibiotics, so I don't know if the two are related..? Sorry for the overshare. Any idea what it could be? Dr G/Web MD kind of scared me, you guys.
No idea what it could be, but I advise staying away from Dr. Google.
I'm exhausted and don't want to be at work, but I took yesterday off and there's no way I could see all my clients in the two remaining days if I'd rested today as well.

I've gotten ingrowns without shaving/waxing. Warm compress and see if it gets a head. Then I pop it and get the hair out. I'm sore for a day and then it heals easy peasy.
Gault, no I haven't. I wish! It's good to know it's common and usually goes away on its own. Since I'm going to the doc, I'll have her look at it anyway, but I'm sure it's harmless.

I stay away from Dr. Google whenever I can. He scares me.
PS, good luck on the house!!
I found out last night that nephew is going home on Sunday! I'm a little sad about this because he and H have a really strong relationship, and I'm not sure how much time H will want to spend with him next year. It might be awkward for him if he's XH instead of H. Know what I mean? H just has a special place in his heart for Nephew, always has... I don't want them to feel like they can't have that continue because of me.
However, I am really excited to not have "extra's" in the house anymore.

I know, I'm so sad for myself and dreading giving him up on Saturday. My foster coordinator emailed to ask if I was sure - again.
I get occasional bumps down there if I've been working out a lot and shaving a lot.
How long do they usually take to go away on their own?
H looked at it earlier (I know) and he says it almost looks like a bit of a mosquito bite in a very unfortunate place. I'll see what the doc says. Thanks a lot!

A few days maybe? FI described mine as a mosquito bite too. Now that it's hot out, I've started hanging out commando in dresses (at home only) and that seems to help. Turns out Nelly had some good advice - it's gettin hot in hurrrr so take off all your clothes...

margarita, I get abscesses down there. They get bigger, sometimes antibiotics can actually trigger them if you have a little debris/oil/skin cells in the follicle. This is also TMI. Unless it has a visible head DO NOT try to pop it. It will push the abscess further down and then it will hurt so badly you want to die. I never ever shave either.
They will probably put you on a stronger antibiotic or they might cut it open. I have never had to have mine drained. They're the worst though.
