$200. But really my H bought them for me as Christmas gifts but whatever. Otherwise I am really cheap with shoes and try to spend no more than $50 although I do have a few pairs of more expensive sneakers.
I'm actually kind of shocked by the results here. Maybe I just like more expensive shoes? I guess I feel like spending more on a pair of shoes means they're likely to last longer. I'm still wearing the Merrells I bought for my honeymoon nearly 4 years ago.
I think the most I spend was 90 on steel toed, non slip, water resistant work shoes. I usually get pumas or adidas when they're on sale. Confession: I hate boots. I sneer at them.

I love my merrell sandals. I actually had to replace them because my first pair wore out!
If I had $$$ I'd be a shoe slore. But I don't have the money so I only go shoe shopping when I have to, and I have to be very firm with myself about only buying what I need. I always go with someone who will keep me in line.
What size are you? Because I only wore my wedding shoes once, despite my internal justification that they didn't look like "wedding" shoes, so I would definitely wear them again. They're 4". And i live in yoga clothes. HA.

Hahahaha I love you so much! I'm a 7! But, I think my problem is the same, I cannot justify buying the ones I find I like, because, well, they don't go with sweatpants, ha!! I almost bought some for my wedding too, but I splurged on a ridiculous cake instead. Good thing too, I sprained my ankle a week before my wedding and my Dad had to practically carry me down the aisle

Jimmy Choos look good with everything
I broke mine in by wearing them around the house with pjs. They're red patent leather Mary Jane high heels. They look awesome with sweats
I haven't bought them yet but I REALLY want a pair of Frye boots. Depending on the style they could cost close to $400. I'm planning on buying them in the late summer.
But actually bought, probably around $200, not sure. I don't spend a ton on shoes.
I want some Melissa back button zip boots in multiple colors, I may actually have to save my mad money.
I think the most I've spent on shoes is a little over $100.
At the moment they're just a reminder that I'm not running.
Except for those sneakers, though, my next two most expensive shoes are an $80 pair of shoes the summer I was a waitress--now those were an investment!--and my wedding shoes, which were about $50.
I have a collection that requires pics but don't judge me- it's from my 7th Ave career days. My faves are a pair of chunky gold snake Marc Jacobs platform sandals, a pair of Chloe wedges with a lucite heel and a pair of Lanvin buff pink floral sandals. They now sit in their boxes in dust bags , but I occasionally take then out to admire them. *sigh*

No judgment from me. I often put on my fancy shoes just for fun bc I have nowhere else to wear them. I want to see the Lanvin ones!

Sent from my SPH-D710 using proboards
Mine all sit in their dust bags and boxes too. My life no longer requires pretty shoes. Though I was sad to see them go, I sold two pairs of Chloe wedges that no longer fit my PP foot on Ebay for a pretty penny.

I don't know what half of the words in this quote mean, lol.
ETA: my most expensive shoes are my work shoes. Danskos, at $140.

Please pip so I can live vicariously through you. I love Mary Janes.
I have a heart (shoe?) warming Jimmy Choo story. When I was looking for wedding shoes my first stop was Manolo Blahnik. I was treated so rudely in there that I honestly walked out and teared up. I was seriously there to buy shoes and I can't even describe the way they made me feel in there. Hello bitch you work at a fancy shoe store...SO WHAT!
So down I went to Jimmy Choo. Where they treated me like a princess. Literally. They even informed me that my shape of foot should never wear a sling back ( which I didn't know at the time but it is completely true). They were so nice to me that not only did I walk out with the perfect shoe for my gown, but I went back a few days later for a pair to go with my rehearsal dinner dress. Best customer service I have ever had. Besides, there really nothing like hugging and kissing that lavender shopping bag on your subway ride home.

Yay! I love that story
I once went into Bergdorf's to get a pair of boots. I tried on a pair that didn't fit over my calves. The guy, with a sneer, brought me a different (ugly) pair and said "these are.....calf friendly" while staring at my (not fat!) leg. I left. Ass.

I love this story so much. SO much. My foot is wide and doesn't fit Choos well, sadly, but I feel this way about Barney's semi-annual shoe sale (heart)
