When my sister got pg with her youngest son she knew exactly when she conceived because it was the first time and only time she and her now ex-h had sex in like 3 months since they were having marital issues. She measured 3 weeks behind and it all turned out just fine with a healthy full term baby.

I know it's hard not to worry, but try to focus on the fact that you heard a strong, healthy heartbeat. That is a great sign! I hope all goes well with your next u/s!

With my last pregnancy, I charted and H was travelling, so I knew exactly when we conceived. I still measured a week behind. If you're going off of guesswork, I'd say you're likely a-okay. (((hugs))), though, because it's nerve wracking. A strong heartbeat is the best thing, and if your doc isn't worried, try to follow her/his lead (impossible as it might seem). T&P your way that things work out just fine for you!
I have PCOS and had I not been tracking my ovulation and known when I ovulated I would have been 3 weeks behind the little wheel thing they use to calculate your due date based on last period. Luckily because I knew I wasn't alarmed to see a 6week fetus rather than a 9 week one at my first u/s. She is now a spunky little 2.5 year old. I hope the same is true for you. Do you have a history of long or irregular cycles?
With my second pregnancy there was a FIVE-week difference between the due date based on my LMP and the due date based on both my ovulation and dating u/s, thanks to a really long cycle. Fortunately I was charting so I knew when I called to schedule my first prenatal appointment that I was six weeks and not 11 weeks like they would have assumed.
So, yeah, I don't think a three-week difference is too concerning, especially since you were able to find the heartbeat.
Hugs! Don't loose hope--my DD3 measured 3wks behind where I thought she sound be on her first u/s. they basically braced me for a miscarriage but she was fine & is now a 4yr old.
If it makes you feel any better, I went in for my 20 week us with DD and it turned out I was only 16 weeks. Sometimes dates can be off, especially when you don't keep track of periods. Good luck!

A strong heartbeat is a really great sign. If you weren't charting and aren't certain of LMP you could simply have had a weird cycle and the dates are off.
Nothing was ever mentioned as off at my ultrasounds but I had started to suspect my due date was a week earlier than they were saying. Then the baby came 4 weeks early at 7 lbs 3 oz and perfectly healthy. She latched immediately, gained all of her weight back within a week and is right where she should be for her age, no adjusting needed.
So focus on the strong heartbeat, and probably don't let anyone push you to an induction if your use date ticks and baby is 'late'. It may just be baby just needs a bit of extra time.

I decided that I cant really do anything about this so im going to try and stay positive. Thank you all for your well wishes and positive thoughts. Going to try and stay off of google. 4 weeks cant come fast enough.
Don't be discouraged. A strong heartbeat means something!! The added stress isn't helpful for you or the baby. Think positive, and wait impatiently for the next ultra sound. (((( big Hugs)))
