H just pissed off D who responded by flopping to her hands and knees and banging the side of her head against the hard floor. Pleeeeeeease don't let us have another head banger on our hands, it was awful with H. It is supposed to be much more common in boys than girls but maybe I lucked out twice. I'm hoping it was a fluke.
Does H still do this? If so, is it possible she learned it from watching her sister? Otherwise, I'm going with a fluke. It had to be a fluke (crossing fingers).

H out grew it around 2ish, maybe a tad bit older. I think. The books and the pedi sais to just let her have at it but I would do things to try to distract her if I could catch it earlier or at least try to get her to carpet before letting her have at it. It is a really disturbing thing to watch and we did our best to identify triggers but it would come in spurts. It was frustrating too because she was very verbal but still went for the head stuff.
