Not sure if I'm just at the point where it's weird to not be making changes anymore or if this is something to seriously consider. I'm thinking about nudging the sink so that it's centered with the hall window and having a "window" above the sink. Not a pass through with a countertop but just a space trimmed out like a window and maybe even functional shutters that open into the hallway and tie into the beams in the living area and the stained doors. Something like this minus the glass. houzz.com/photos/42535
The window will look out to open land and a wall of trees we own. There's a wall of windows in the dining area opposite the sink and lots more windows in the open living area. So is this the worst idea ever or what?
