Hi! I posted this on the Nest pets board as well. I figured I'd try over here if more people are posting on this like some other boards.
I adopted my kitten 2 months ago (he's almost a year old now). The first time I took him to the vet for a check-up, he had bright red blood in his stool for a day or two after (which I assumed was from the thermometer irritating stuff). He was at the vet's 3 or 4 weeks ago, and this time there's been blood in his stool almost every day since (still bright red). He did fidget a whole bunch when the vet tech was trying to take him temp the last time, but I'm not sure that things would still be irritated several weeks later. I'm probably going to call the vet on Monday. I've just kept hoping it would clear up if something was irritated.
What do you think? Should I give it more time? Could it be something more serious?

Definitely call the vet ASAP, it is very unlikely that it would be from the thermometer this long... 3-4 weeks is a very long time. It could be something serious like a parasite and he needs to be checked out.
