I've got some steel toed boots cuddly. Just sayin.
I had my first fitting today. Two inches off the waist/hips. Fuck, I should have gotten a size down. This thing is gonna fit like a glove - I have THREE more fittings.

@stareieskies - thanks. I can sometimes be unreasonable about the stardards I set for myself so it is nice to hear that it will smooth out soon. I hope.
I am choosing to make sure the kids are happy. I am not going out of my way fir him. I don't want it to get nasty .
I completely get this! This is how I feel too. I'm sure that there will be things that will get a little heated, but if I can minimize DS's exposure to it that's what I'm going to do.

Speaking of... How are things going, Starries? What does your plan/timeline look like now?

No worries Mel. I know he's noticing that I'm different, he was downstairs much earlier last night. But was still up when I came upstairs at 10:30. Then I got in the shower late this morning b/c he was still on the can (there was "drama" apparently--silly Japanese alliance and their war).

Things are moving a long. I'm looking at the first (possibly second) week in August. Just trying to put my last few "ducks in a row". I'm using the annual charity event as an excuse to do some purging and get rid of some stuff while boxing up others for a quick exit. My plan is to basically firm up my living situation, tell H I'm done, and leave. I will probably go out of town for a couple of days with DS to allow H to process, and then go back for my stuff.
I'm at the point where He can keep almost everything, I don't care. There are some sentimental items that are coming with me, but the house, the furniture, that's just stuff and can be replaced fairly easily. I'm just ready to be done.
H left the house in a huff this morning, I'm not sure what that was about, but it really doesn't matter. I'm done with his 'tude.

Good for you! I can't wait.
Have you been dropping off valuables like jewelry (DS artwork?) or anything at your mom's? I wouldn't want to leave anything I would be upset to lose behind. I don't trust your H not to throw a tantrum.

I haven't dropped anything off yet, but with the purging I'm doing, it won't surprise H to see things missing. He probably won't even notice. I don't really have much that I would consider "valuables", a couple pieces of jewelry and some pictures... Nothing I wouldn't be able to grab pretty quickly. And I have electronic copies of all of the pictures on a zip drive that I keep in my desk at work. So even those I can live without. I have important documents stored in my locked filing cabinet at work already too. (a copy of the mortgage paperwork, the title for my car, DS's birth certificate and social security card, all that good stuff)
I don't really trust H not to throw a tantrum either. So I'm trying to prep as much as I can. That's also why I'm planning on taking DS OOT for a couple of days.
Starrieskies, I've been wanting to ask how everything is going. You sound like you're more than prepared and doing great. Keep it up. I'm really excited for you.
