I finally got my scores back for exam 1 out of 7 for the Architect Registration Exam.
I failed . Thinking too practical and my nerves got the best of me. I guess I will be taking this section again in 6 months. I will try another section in September. I had a feeling I failed but seeing it after waiting for so long sucks. I'm trying so hard not to cry at my desk. Crap, typing that out effed me up.
Oh man! I'm so sorry. Will the exam help you by knowing what to study or feel more confident next time because you already know how the exam will be formatted?

Either way, I'm really sorry.
They change the questions up per test and the number of questions per subject. But it does give me an idea for next time. Also, my scores are detailed somewhat to let me know which section I did poorly in.
Damn, I just found out my study partner failed too.
Dangit. This is just a blip on the map. Use this to your advantage to be better prepared for the next one with the knowledge of what you need to focus on more in your studies.
Aw, I'm sorry All of us have failed something, I promise. But that sucks finding out after waiting for so long. I'm sure you now know what the test is like and are able to prepare yourself differently for the next one, right?
I know, but it still sucks. This exam is a good indicator for the retake, but they change it up per test. I will see in 6 months.
I don't know what you're using for study materials, but DH used(s) the Kaplan study guide, but likes Ballast better. He also paid about $200 for flashcards for each test through ArchiFlash. He's passed all of his so far. He took his last one on 6/26, and we haven't gotten the scores back yet (though it looks like we should soon!)
If you want, PM me an email address and he can send you the files (one of his studio-mates got it from work and they've been passing it around to each other)

For CDS, I used the Kaplan study guides, Ballast ARE Manual, Ballast flash cards and a couple of study guides from online or FTP sites. He should definitely get his score anytime. I know GA, CA and a couple of other states got theirs this week for anyone who took their exams after 6/24. I hope he does well!
