Ok, so I have a neighborhood book club mtg tonight. It's sort of the year end meeting, in which we discuss/ pick books for next yr. Tiny bit of background: we've lived in this neighborhood since Dec. I've attended two book clubs so far; they've both been catered. Like fancy catered. I'm the youngest member of the club by 20- (mostly)40ish yrs. Basically, I'd like to make a good impression, without trying too hard. Since this is the annual review/ planning for next year, everyone is supposed to being an appetizer. I decided on caprese pops (thx Pinterest!. But b/c the bottom of the toothpick isn't shown, what the heck do I stick these in? How do I serve? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for listening to my trivial backstory/ helping me impress my senior neighbors... Ah, that makes so much sense! Super embarrassed, as I was wondering how I was going to make them STAND?!? Styrofoam? Yeah, laying them on a platter is so much easier! I'm blaming the pic (that I can't get to post- grrr!!!) for showing them vertically. They look so cute, but there are no instructions on plating! Thanks guys.
