Because I watched it on Friday on a plane and ugly cried in front of a LOT of people and I need to talk about it. I can't stop thinking about the parents. And the poor kids. And how much I want to beat the hell out of some of the other kids. And how much I'd love to give that assistant principal lady a piece of my mind. Gahhhhhhhhhh. It was one of the most awful things I've ever seen.
I want to watch this so bad, but I know it won't be good with the pregnancy hormones. I am going to watch it though. I'd like to buy it, but I have only seen it on demand.

I've never been pregnant, but I'd probably advise against it haha. It gets pretty graphic at some points (a child getting beaten up). And deals with the parents of a few children who have committed suicide.
The asst. (which auto corrects to assy, btw) principal probably made me the most angry.
Kids can be fuckers, especially when they don't have adults to set them right. When the asst. principal was talking to the two boys, and totally brushed off the death threats because the poor victim didn't want to shake hands with his tormentor. Oh the RAGE!!!
Yes, we showed it to our secondary kids this year.
Do you think it changed anything/ affected them at all?
I'll be totally honest, I looked at my H after and told him we were never having children if kids are really this awful now. I mean, kids were awful to each other when I was a kid (I'm 27), but with social media now... I can't even imagine.

Oh man If I can find it to purchase I will save it for after pregnancy, lol.

THANK YOU! When she was all, "you're being just as bad as him when you didn't shake his hand"... seriously? This kid has threatened to hill him and he's tried to bring charges against him. Being "just as bad"!?! Go fuck yourself, lady.

I totally thought you were talking about the Brad Renfro movie Bully from 2001 (LOVED IT) and was wondering why you were ugly crying...then I realized you're talking about the more recent movie about bullying. Duh me!
I barely made it 10 minutes in before I had to turn it off. It was the scene on the school bus where the one kid asks a popular kid "we're buddies, right?" What comes out o the popular/bully's mouth next is the likes o which I have never heard before. It went so far beyond mean that I had to turn it off. So disturbing.

That little boy needs some serious support before he legitimately offs himself. At one point his mother is asking him how he feels when these boys treat him like that. And his response was "I don't feel anything anymore". WEEPING.
I want to watch it, and have almost watched it on Netflix a few times, but I'm afraid to. I was bullied as a child and I'm thinking it might hit a nerve and I will ugly cry like a boss. That's the one time I don't want to do anything like a boss.
