So, I called my HR. It seems like my manager was out of line for writing me up, especially since Best Buy knew I was ill when they hired me. Hr was very nice and from now on if I have a seizure or other related illness, I just need to call in and basically say that I am calling in due to covered medical reasons. I will also hopefully have my write ups taken off, as well.
Oh, and for the poster who asked which med I am on, it is lorazepam (ativan) .5 mg tablets, twice a day. Like I said, looooow dose trial period.
Thank you for encouraging me to contact HR and fight this. I probably wouldn't have if you all hadn't said something.
Awesome news and update!! This update shows how helpful this board can be! There are many wise, thoughtful, funny, and yes even snarky but that is what makes this board what it is!
I didn't see your earlier post (I just read it though), and I'm glad that you spoke up for yourself and had a good outcome. My mom developed epilepsy after a freak accident in a beauty parlor (no, I can't make this shit up) and didn't always have the most understanding employers.

Good job. But I would take your employer name out of your post. Also, send your boss and your HR person an email confirming this conversation, in case your boss becomes crappy again.
