Before it was just an empty, odd shaped room with no rods or anything.
Still an odd shaped space, but it is so much more functional than the rolling clothes rack and boxes of clothes that were on there before. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using proboards
Most of it will be for DH's stuff. He has tons more clothes than I do, and I have a very cool dresser in addition to my part of the closet.
I did let the elfa rep design the space, although I had a general idea of what we needed, based on our closet at our old house. She came up with a plan that made sense to me and only needed a couple of tweaks (giving DH more of the space) and made more sense than anything we had thought of (we looked at a lot of different systems) in less time than it took me to look through the elfa catalogue.
I loved our easy track system at our old house, but this closet is such a weird shape and feels so closed in that it just didn't seem like the right system for this space. Everything else seemed too closed in or clunky to me. We decided to bite the bullet and spend the money...I think it will be worth it. Living out of boxes and piles for 3 months will do that to you.
Ooooo, it's so pretty! Our house came with Elfa stuff in the master closet, but just the basic wire stuff, none of the pieces that make it look so finished.
