I have a question about foot pain/plantar fasciitis...
Here's what I did this week: Monday: strength was shoulder press, workout involved about 3k worth of running, some shoulder presses, push press, jerks and burpees Tuesday: strength was back squat, workout involved rowing and then lunges with front squats and knees to elbow Wednesday: did a weightlifting class - all 'pulling' mainly deadlifting (I reached 3x180#), nothing explosive at all.
So all week, all I have done that was explosive/hard on the feet was the 3k run and the burpees. Today my right calf was a bit tight but nothing painful. Tonight my right food is KILLING me...it feels like it used to after I would do a body attack class in old running shoes, except then it hurt more in my arch, today it hurts more in the area where my arch meets my heel.
Could my lifting be causing the pain? I thought it was brought on by explosive kind of stuff, not static things like deadlifts.
