I want to see it so bad, but I know it will give me nightmares.
I already promised a friend that I would wold see it with her, but I'm torn for this reason. The commercials make me twitchy, so I know the movie will have me freaked out for days.

It actually has decent reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. A co-worker and I watched the trailer for it months ago in my office, and we both screamed really loud when the hands clapped by the woman's head. Omg.

See that didn't scare me lol, I guess I didn't get it because I had just switched the channel and that part had just come on. I was thinking why did she get scared at clapping hands? Lol. My h wants to see it, but I also have problems of forgetting movies like that and I dream of them for days!
The thing that freaks me out the most is that it's based on a true story. And, I don't care if I'm weird, I believe in all that kind of stuff.
Same here!
I want to see it so bad, but I'll probably wait until it's out of theaters so I can see it in broad daylight, preferably around 8am so I have the rest of the day to get over it, lol.

I have a love hate relationship with scary movies. I can't watch ones that are based on true events because I always think it's going to happen to me then of course.
I can of wait to see this! I know it will terrify me like no other, but I still can't wait.
I had nightmares about Lili Taylor after seeing The Haunting. I swear to God, I was terrified to look in a mirror for months, for fear my face would distort into someone else's before my eyes.
The Conjuring looks about ten times more freaky than The Haunting. I'm not sure why I am excited to see it, but I am!

It might be based on a true story, but I am sure it is very exaggerated. I love scary movies, but ever since my h started traveling for work, I don't watch them anymore, ha.
I totally want to see it too but I am such a baby. I will have to wait for it to come out on DVD so I can be safe behind my pillow and turn the volume down. I can't handle all the silence and loud noises.

OMG my H claps like that EVERY time the preview commercial comes on. Last night I was like 'PLEASE stop!' I'm honestly surprised that I haven't had a nightmare yet just from seeing the preview. I just can't watch horror movies.
We watched it last night. I think my screaming made other people in the theater scream more. However, for some reason, I thought it would be fun to get drunk and then go see it.
