Know what I'm eating for Lunch, Part II?

Fucking broccoli.

It was leftover from dinner, and was part of my lunch today and I'm just getting to it. I want ice cream. And nachos. And Smartfood.

But I'm eating my grilled chicken/couscous, broccoli and pita w/hummus like a good little MFP groupie.

Not the food, I like all the food, but when you have a lunch and you're like "yeah, healthy!" and you get to actually eating it and you'd rather stab yourself in the eye with your spork than eat the damned broccoli.

That's exactly it. I packed this last night and gave myself a high-five for being all proactive and healthy. I am in week 2 of TurboFire and really trying to do well.

But as I'm eating, my coworkers are chowing down on fucking Pei Wei. And then there are birthday cupcakes. And I'm eating my broccoli. My "treat" for my snack later is a greek yogurt. Woo fucking hooo!

It's mostly that I want some Smartfood, but I think that it's a sign that I'm still learning the right balance of eating healthy and not feeling deprived, KWIM?

I did WW like 5 years ago and did really well. Over the past 6+ months, I just ate mindlessly and more weight snuck back up on me. Suddenly, nothing fit except stretched out maternity stuff. Hence the TurboFire and My Fitness Pal.

seriously, about 20 minutes ago i was fighting with myself about this. i decided i really want mexican food for dinner so i didn't. lol

I do this. When I worked, I would plan out my healthy lunches for work. Then the day would roll around and I'd be starving and I'd get out the container. Blech, who decided this was a good idea a few days ago? I want take out or delivery! lol

I am doing the healthy eating thing too and tracking on MFP. My lunch was boring (I had broccoli last night so I did carrots today). All I could think about was how much I wanted a fucking Big Mac.
