I am doing Couch to 10K. I have done C25K several times in the past. My first (and only) race was the Warrior Dash last year. I ruined my shoes, couldn't afford new ones, so I stopped altogether.
Fast forward to this year. Got new shoes at a running store that fit perfectly. I did C210K week 3, day 3 tonight. I thought my legs were going to fall off. My calves burned so bad. I don't remember them being that bad when I did the same thing last year, but at the time I was taking Prednisone so I rarely felt any pain during/after a workout.
Does it ever stop?? I signed up for the WD again back in March since I loved it last year. I just can't believe what a hard time I'm having this time. I am afraid I won't be able to do the WD this year.

Take it back a week. It is ok to repeat. Warrior dash is about a 5k and as you know a lot of it is walked due to back ups, and if anything like mine the crazy hills! Good luck. Don't stress. Go back a week. You need to build up your muscle strength. It will get better.
