Andrew has had 4-5 already. We go to a place that specializes in cutting kids' hair. He is well behaved, and they cut it SOOOO fast. He looks like a little boy when he's done. . . . not a baby.
He's gotten two, and yes, it makes him look like a bigger kid The first time he flipped out, but the second time he did really well. I had him sit in my lap both times. His hair grows so fast that I forsee a lot of haircuts in our lifetime. Both time I went to a kids place which I think helped.

Christian had his first hair cut in June because his hair was constantly in his eyes. I told her to leave it a little long because I wasn't ready for him to look like a little man. He needs another cut soon.
I DONT WANT TO lose my little baby ahh but I don't want a Rachel zoe baby either
we have a big party to go to at the end of the month with photographers etc and I want us all to look good so am thinking about the hair cut but what if he doesn't look like my little man. oh boo I am not sure what to do. he really just needs a mullet and bang trim. I also don't want him to lose his blond hair bc he will eventually tuen brunette

If I can hold out Oct/ 18 months ish for family pics/ Christmas cards. My hair dresser will do it and he will sit In my lap or by himself in the chair.
We cute DS1 curls at. 2 (he had way less hair) and his curls never grew back, so I am just enjoying them till they get too unruly. I have snipped a couple odd length bang pieces just because they bug me, my hair dresser would do it but I am too lazy to make an appt.
Ha! I'll have a Rachel Zoe baby and that's okay by me! He's rocking the frumpiest mullet ever but it looks fine when it actually curls. No idea when I'll cut it but not anytime soon. Maybe 18 months or so. MAYBE.
We haven't yet, but I know I need to. He has permanent bed head and I think the heat is making it more uncomfortable. I'm planning on taking him to Cookie Cutters for his first cut.

He's had 3 and is due for a 4th. First one was with my amazingly patient beautician on someone's lap. He cried. Second one was at Nana's house, and he ate. Third was back at the beautician, and he did fine, although, the back of his neck is ticklish, so I held him upside down for a small part of the cut. My beautician told me that was an effective first for her. His 4th will be at home with our clipper set. While it is adorable, his boy band hair just needs to go.
A has only had one. I only had the lady take half an inch off because it was hard to comb his hair. He's due again, and I'm considering having more taken off. He pretty much looked the same, just a smaller Afro.
The lady wouldn't let me hold him, so he freaked the f out. Luckily it was over pretty quickly.

Jason has had about 4 so far and I cut it myself. I just turn on Toy Story (he is obsessed!!) and he sits there quietly. I use clippers on the side and trim the top with scissors. Hair on the ear drives me crazy so I trim around the ear every 2 weeks.
No haircut club here. We have short thin blonde hair maybe by time he is 2. I've daydreamed about what kind of hair cut/ style we will give him and am so undecided. Part of me wants to give him the shaggy surfer look.
My DS2 has only had "home" haircuts for now. I don't think he'd sit well at the barber, he's really squirmy when I do it even with the ipad in front of him. DS1 sat on my lap at the barber until he was almost 3! eek. (clinger)
We will probably go pro in a couple months though, my home barbering doesn't look *that* great
Kalvin got his haircut first right before his 2nd birthday. He looked like a little boy and not a toddler.
He had no curls but some serious bedhead, still has serious bedhead issues. Poor kid. He hates it and his sensory issues don't help so she can't get a good cut on him. We will take him to a kid salon and one that has a hairdresser specializing with kids on the spectrum.
I take him every 6 weeks now. I was just keeping it longer to show his curls, but I finally cut it more like a big boy. He looks so much older with the hair off his ears. Like an instant toddler.
He has had five already. He apparently has my hair, which is thick and grows very quickly. When it views out too long he gets called a girl. Lot more often so I cut it. We leave the top longer and just get over his ears and the back/ neck layered and trimmed.
He does very will in the seat. I have sat with him a couple of times. We have only had one freak out in the chair and that was because the stylist didn't warm up to him at all. It sucked.

I still haven't taken Linus. I cut his mullet off in the back, but I just can't do the rest. His hair is curling up and I don't want to cut it off and make him look like a big boy!

He had one so far right after his birthday in April. He sat on my lap in the chair but was very squirmy. He is due for another one now, maybe I will take him this week.
Let's see some before and afters, ladies Max has a total mullet and needs a cut but I am being really cheap and I want his hair to be long and it's growing in a funky way (longer in the back still) so that's not happening yet. The 1st time and last time he got it cut it was my stylist that did it, he was in my lap and she did it really fast and he looked a little disturbed but didn't cry. He was 12 months or so, maybe 11?
Nooo! I love long hair on toddlers and kids, so I'm not cutting his anytime soon. I love his blond swirls and curls. I've gotten two Kate Hudson comments in the last week, though. I had a moment when I considered a cut last weekend as we were swimming, and his wet hair trailed below his shoulder blades in a horrid rat tail. But then it dried and curled back up
