Or is mine the only one? I still give Kate an 8oz bottle while I read to her, then I kiss her, and put her in her crib. I know I need to wean her from it, and plan on doing so before I go back to work in August, however, I'm sad. The thought of not getting as much snuggle time with her makes me feel weepy. Ella weaned herself, so I never had to do this before.

We offer a sippy, which is pretty much the same thing. He gets a large sippy of milk while I read to him. Sometimes he drinks nothing or sometimes he drinks the entire thing. But we always sit together and read at least 2 books. I still get great cuddles without the bottle.
Yes, we still give her a bottle before bed. It's such a good routine for us right now I'm having a hard time thinking about breaking it. When I talked to my pediatrician at 12 months he said he would expect the bedtime bottle to be the last bottle dropped, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I'm wondering what he's going to have to say about this at 15 months.

We just switched to a sippy and it made me sad. It was mostly her doing though because she always wanted Linus' sippy instead of her bottle. But she'll still try and nurse on the sippy a lot and gets frustrated so it makes me feel badly. Both kids get a sippy while we read their books then brush teeth, etc.
I still can't get him to go to sleep without one. We use a full 6 ounces at bed time, and then diluted bottles for the middle of the night and naptime. I honestly have no idea how to get him to fall asleep without one, but I'm hoping once we get him STTN and only using water in the bottles it'll get better.

Same for us. Plus, he likes the sippy better than the bottle because he can see the book better.
I still give Violet her milk sippy before bed "bottle style." It's one of the Nuk Learner sippies, her favorite kind. They're great for transition from the bottle. She lays back and we snuggle while she drinks it. I'm planning to give that up never.
Yes, a sippy. How much she drinks depends on how much she ate at dinner. She doesn't drink any milk any other time than before sleeping, but she needs the calories
Yes h gets about 6oz & I don't know how to break the habit. I've tried offering a sippy. But he gets mad & throws it. Any suggestions? We need to end this soon so that we have a bottle free extended period prior to baby 2.
Wait, we have to cut out the bedtime milk? Why? C nurses and then drinks 8-16 ounces of milk at bedtime, and still usually wakes up starving (more nursing and another 8-12 ounces WCM) in the middle of the night.
We did with J for a long, long, long time, longer than I will admit to Anna has never had a huge fondness for the bottle (J had to have formula for a few months due to pregnancy dry up) so it hasn't been an issue with her. We waited until it wasn't a big deal for J. He needed it to calm down, and we weren't willing to take away that 5 minutes of sucking.

I still nurse before bed and if I am not home she gets a bottle. I am not too worried about stopping it. I like the extra cuddles. (Can you tell I have been watching a lot of Doc McStuffins)
With L I was super worried and oh I need to get rid of the bottle, she will be damages forever if I don't do it soon. I transitioned with a sippy before bed.
With C whenever I feel like it, I am not concerned.
Yep, still getting a bottle before bed here too. Its kinda part of his routine. He gets the bottle then goes into his crib, either already asleep or damn near close. He also gets one in the morning that I give to him in his crib while I'm in the shower. We've tried milk in the sippy and he refuses. Perhaps I'll try again once his teething is done.
