Spoons for what? How weird. Doesn't your office have a supplier they can order spoons from? Or petty cash to purchase some? I'm sorry you have to hoard spoons.
Ditto. If we want something, we have to bring it for ourselves and horde them.
I am constantly stocking up on the cheapie $1 utensil boxes from the grocery store. Or I just steal them from the cafeteria during the year, but the checkout ladies give us the stinkeye if we grab more than 2-3 at once.
I have one of everything that is mine, all mine. one fork, spoon, knife, mug, plate and bowl- all "real" and brought from home. that's the way we do shit here, we're a very weird office lol.
Please go to work with a costco size box of plastic utensils. When people ask to have one tell them you don't have enough to spare while petting the box.

At my last shop that was my owner's cross she chose to die on. It made her irrationally insane to even consider buying plastic wear for the tech's to eat their lunches with. I mean, I don't think it was her responsibility but I used to like to throw it out every once and a while to get her worked up. She finally did use rebate money from a part vendor once and bought like a 1,000 pack of spoons/forks/knives from Costco and it was the biggest deal ever, lol. People from our other locations called to ask if what they heard was true, hahahahaha.
That's really annoying that no one else pitches in and does it at your office!
You have to bring your own spoons, that is insane. Why don't you bring in a metal home and just wash it and keep it in your desk so you never go without one?
