Chloasma/ dark pigment - treatments?

Has anyone successfully lightened up an area of dark pigment? I have a lovely area on my forehead from my birth control pills. At the start of summer, despite my sunscreen, it go darker. I hate it and am very self conscious. Does anything help to lighten these spots up? Any experience?

That happened to my sister - the only solution she came up with was to go off the birth control pills, and switch to a non-hormonal birth control.

I have it on my cheeks thanks to being pregnant. Again, it went away after I gave birth with my first son, and am hoping it will do the same again this time.

I would give this a try from Paula's Choice. I haven't used this particular product, but I use some of her other stuff that I absolutely love. And lots of women on Style and Beauty love Paula's Choice products.

I would rather not go off the pill if I can avoid it, because its the best fit for me otherwise - mirena was not good.

I will look into the dark spot corrector.
