One of DS#1's buddies from their previous daycare named her kitten after him because she hasn't seen him in so long and misses him.
Barely saw H this weekend, it's hard to have a discussion about therapy and the state of your relationship at 11pm. I'm doing it tonight, I can't wait any longer.
They assigned me to another doctor, so now I support three doctors and our coordinator.
I felt kind of crappy all weekend. I had an upset stomach Saturday night.
This came AFTER I ate dinner and decided to take DD on a walk. I was a mile and a half away from home when that horrible sweaty, shaky, I have to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW feeling suddenly happened. It was one long, miserable joggish/walk home. H was outside. I pretty much pushed the stroller in his direction and ran in the house. I had a shaky, upset stomach the entire rest of the weekend. That kind of sucked.

Well, he got stuck working late on Saturday then was upstairs for a couple hours. Yesterday, he slept late and then hung out for a bit before he went back upstairs to "get ready to mow the lawn" that turned into "I need to sit on the can". He mowed the lawn and washed his car, didn't come back in until 9--went upstairs and took a shower was back downstairs by 10-ish. I was already sleepy and engrossed with Masterpiece Mystery.
It is cute, he hasn't seen her in over a year but it's nice to know people think well of him.
Kind of, my main job is supporting the coordinator, mainly because she has more work for me. But a lot of that work is stuff she doesn't want to do because she hates it. LOL. The doctors are mostly easy to work with, one is particular but the other two are pretty easy.
This weekend was fun, but ended on a crap note and now I am trying not to fall asleep or eep in pain.
We flew to St. Simons Island Georgia this weekend, hung out with family. We had to leave early because of bad weather and ended up hanging out in a small town airport for 6 hours waiting for the weather to clear. We made it home safe but right before I laid down to sleep I realized I forgot my phone and went down stairs to get it. Tripped fell down half of them. I am so sore, rug burned, and bruised. It hurt to sleep, it hurts to sit. I would just like to go home and sleep and watch mind numbing television.
I had a headache all day yesterday from crying on Saturday evening when we had to say goodbye to our foster pup. It didn't help that I consumed half a bottle of wine and a giant cupcake that evening as well.
A cut her first tooth this weekend. She was crabby but not too bad. Saturday I put her down at 4:30 for a nap and she slept all night. H was all, maybe cut back on the baby Tylenol, but she'd only had one dose that morning. Then last night she figured out how to stand up in her crib. And so she did that for an hour and a half past bedtime. Fun times.
Confession: H is out of town so I went to Trader Joes to stock up on some of their freezer deliciousness. I can't be bothered to eat healthy when I'm home alone.

Congrats! And also, PF will be up for up to 2 hours past bedtime. She'll sing, talk, play with her feet, shriek, and now push herself into sitting. I feel your pain.

DS#2's new bedtime routine goes like this: 1) Get put in bed, start yelling "NO!" 2) Jump up and down in bed 3) Start yelling "mama! Moooommmy!" at the top of his lungs 4) Jump some more and/or strip the bed and throw the blankets out 5) Finally fall asleep.
dixienormous I have to lower the crib to the bottom setting. We should have done it by now but she hasn't even been sitting up in there yet. Just last night, BAM. I wish I could have just left her to it, but I was afraid she pitch herself over the side.
It was funny to watch the first little while. She'd sit up, scooch over to the edge, toss the pacifier over, and then stand up and laugh triumphantly.

motzie, we're waiting for PF to sit up more consistently but we're heading towards FINALLY lowering the crib to the second level. I'm ridiculously excited about this.

I somehow managed to get a mosquito bite on my foot right in between toes. (my big toe and second toe. What the heck do you call that toe?) It was mildly uncomfortable while wearing flip flops all weekend, but REALLY uncomfortable during my "run" this morning.
I took Nephew to my parents house last night so that he and Dad could start the drive back to his home this morning. I just heard from them and they're about half way through the drive. *sigh* I know it's miserably hot in Nevada right now, but I kind of wish I was going with them...

Yay to all of these accomplished babies!
Today is my doctors appointment that is supposed to take 5 hours. I am waiting for another test right now. Also, everyone here is super old! I need a cane and orthopedic shoes to be here.

I was going to make stuffed bell peppers for dinner. I decided to have cheesecake instead because I felt bad for myself. Two doctors appointments in one day is too many. This was a good decision.

I wasn't going to admit this... But I ate a piece of left over Peanut Butter Pie for breakfast this morning.

I love peanut butter pie. I might need some of that for tomorrow.
